Redmi A3x Set to Debut in India and Worldwide Soon: Design and Key Features Revealed
Reports indicate that Redmi is gearing up to unveil its latest offering, the Redmi A3x, in both Indian and global markets. This follows earlier sightings of the purported device on various certification platforms earlier this year. Now, fresh leaks suggest that the launch of the Redmi A3x is imminent, with details surfacing about its design, specifications, and features.
According to a recent report by Passionategeekz, the global variant of the Redmi A3x is identified by the model number 24048RN6CG, while the Indian variant bears the model number 24048RN6CI. The report hints at an unveiling in the “upcoming days” and includes leaked promotional materials showcasing the device’s key features and design elements.

Allegedly, the Redmi A3x is poised to flaunt a sizable 6.71-inch 90Hz LCD screen shielded by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Under the hood, it’s rumored to pack a Unisoc T603 chipset, coupled with either 3GB or 4GB of RAM, and offering storage options of 64GB or 128GB. Operating on an Android 14-based UI, the device aims to deliver a seamless user experience.
In terms of optics, the Redmi A3x is speculated to boast an 8-megapixel primary rear camera accompanied by a 0.08-megapixel ‘decorative’ sensor, while the front camera is expected to house a 5-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calls. Security features may include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and AI Face Unlock.
Powering the device is rumored to be a robust 5,000 mAh battery with support for 10W wired charging. Leaked promotional images hint at a choice between Green and Grey color variants, with a design reminiscent of its predecessor, the Redmi A3.
Previously, the Redmi A3 debuted in India with a starting price of Rs. 7,299 for the 3GB + 64GB variant, while the 4GB + 128GB and 6GB + 128GB models were priced at Rs. 8,299 and Rs. 9,299, respectively. The Redmi A3 was available in Midnight Black, Lake Blue, and Olive Green colors.
